Where is Schildmeyer furniture manufactured?

Our furniture is produced in Germany at four locations in Bad Oeynhausen (North Rhine-Westphalia).

How sustainable is Schildmeyer’s production?

How is the mechanical safety of Schildmeyer furniture ensured?

Customer safety is our top priority. All Schildmeyer furniture is manufactured according to DIN EN 14749, and the user manuals are produced according to the latest version of EN 82079.

Our furniture is tested at irregular intervals by independent, accredited testing institutes.

How high is the formaldehyde content in the furniture?

All chipboard and MDF boards we process are environmentally friendly and meet the requirements of

DIN EN 14322:2022-02 Wood-based panels – Melamine-faced boards for indoor use

and fall below the limit value permitted by the Federal Health Office
of 0.1 ppm (= 0.12 mg formaldehyde per m3/g air).
